This film is remarkable not only for the powerful performance of Richard Dreyffus who gives a completely convincing portrayal of a sculptor left quadraplegic after a horrific car accident.. unable to pursue the 1 thing that gave meaning to his life,he decides to fight the medical establishment, and the courts, for permission to leave the hospital, and subsequently die from complications..Dreyffus is sarcastic, bitter, and full of dark morbid humour, its not an easy film to watch but definately captivating...
